eLearning with American Professional Educational Services
eLearning gives students the flexibility to learn at their own pace and schedule, anywhere and anytime an internet connection is available. CPR and other psycho-motor skills training must include a hands-on skills testing component.
Depending on the course content, American Professional Educational Services eLearning courses include three parts. Part 1 is the online section that can be achieved at work, home, or wherever you have Internet access. Parts 2 and 3 includes a hands-on skills practice and testing session conducted in-person with an American Professional Educational Services Certified AHA Instructor.

Heartsaver® First Aid eLearning Course Bundle (Parts 1, 2 & 3)
Heartsaver First Aid eLearning course is a Web-based, self-directed program. This program teaches students critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage an emergency with-in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive.
Heartsaver® CPR/AED eLearning Course Bundle (Parts 1, 2, & 3)
This course is to learn the basic CPR and AED skills such as giving CPR to an infant, child, or an adult, and using an AED. The online lessons can be completed in less time than a classroom course.
Heartsaver® First Aid/CPR/AED eLearning Course Bundle (Parts 1, 2 & 3)
The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course is created to instruct individuals to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. It covers the four steps of first aid and first aid skills such as finding the problem, stop bleeding, bandaging and using an Epinephrine pen, as well as child CPR AED, infant CPR and optional modules in adult CPR AED, child mask, infant mask and asthma care. Only offered as an eLearning course.
Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED eLearning Course Bundle (Parts 1, 2 & 3)
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED eLearning course teaches child care providers and others to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
HeartCode® ACLS eLearning Course Bundle (Parts 1, 2 & 3)
The HeartCode® ACLS eLearning course is a Web-based, self-paced instructional program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. In this environment, students apply their knowledge to real-time decision making and skills development. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each simulation to assist the progress of learning. After completing the cognitive portion of the course, students practice and test their skills with an American Professional Educational Services certified AHA Instructor. Upon successful completion of the cognitive and skills tests, students receive a course completion card.
HeartCode® Basic Life Support (BLS) eLearning Course
HeartCode BLS uses the latest eSimulation technology to assist students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. Taking advantage of the variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities, this course teaches BLS knowledge and skills. This method of learning gives training consistency, adaptability to different learning styles, and flexibility for the student’s and employer’s time. Students can work at their own pace applying their knowledge to real-time decision making and skills development. Blended training also supports the need for hands-on learning of psycho-motor skills. Debriefings and coaching are given immediately after each simulation.
Once the cognitive portion of the course has been completed, students practice and test their skills with an American Professional Educational Services certified AHA Instructor.
HeartCode® Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) eLearning Course Bundle (Parts 1, 2 & 3)
The HeartCode® PALS eLearning course is a web-based, self-directed program that teaches healthcare providers knowledge and skills needed to recognize and prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children.
This program uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. In this environment, students apply their knowledge to real-time decision-making and skills development. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each simulation to facilitate learning about pediatric advanced life support.
HeartCode PALS eLearning is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics and others who need a PALS course completion card and are seeking an alternative (non-classroom) method for completing an initial or update PALS course.
